Eashan Karnik FRSA is a Juris Doctor Candidate at the University of Ottawa with an HBSc with Distinction from the University of Toronto. Beginning as a young volunteer for a local environmental group in the City of Mississauga, Eashan has moved on to work in remote, rural, and urban communities across Ontario and Alberta in various innovation-strategy roles for governments and organizations. From advising senior policy makers on Alberta’s Climate Leadership Plan, to leading a delegation from Canada to the United Nations in New York to contribute to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Innovation, Eashan has helped drive Canada towards achieving sustainability and fostering innovation.
