Bio

Eashan Karnik FRSA is a Juris Doctor Candidate at the University of Ottawa with an HBSc with Distinction from the University of Toronto. Beginning as a young volunteer for a local environmental group in the City of Mississauga, Eashan has moved on to work in remote, rural, and urban communities across Ontario and Alberta in various policy roles for governments and organizations. Upon entering law school, Eashan has begun working in legal research roles in topics such as securities, corporate governance, corporate finance, international trade, and intellectual property. From his beginnings in Mississauga, Eashan has now attended and spoken at prestigious institutions such as the United Nations in New York, the World Trade Organization in Geneva, the Sustainable Blue Economy Conference in Nairobi, and on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
